I have a ix104 from xplore for 3 years.
I don't remember how I did it, but I had to format the disk and install a xp pro (non tablet edition) to make it work. At that time I could use the touch panel with a pen (non active) just fine. I used it a lot with ArcView from ESRI and the Tablet PC funcionality was working fine.
Now, I already formated the disk again, but I can't make the touch panel work, even if all the drivers (winXP3.0 and control panel, from xplore) are installed...
Anyone can help me, PLEASE!!!!!!!!!
Tks.

If you have the MSDN subscription DVDs it can also have a full TabletPC install. I have an older Universal Subscription (before they decided to make more money by making more and exclusionary versions) that had all the operating systems and came with a 10 license per DVD. It can be used to install development copies only.
Best is to get the Disk from the manufacturer, however. The replacement disks in my experience are very cheap.
I have also successfully installed Wacom drivers on equipment with external tablets. On the above hardware ,for example, I had installed Tablet PC (for development) even though it did not have a tablet, and was able to plug in an external tablet for use. That's not your case, but I give it as an example.
