Hello.
I'am searching for tablets wth a 14" display.
My mother has a Tecra M4.
It now defect. The intern LCD will now not more found in System.
Only the extern Monitor on VGA out.
She worries too little work (less than 14 inches).
They temporarily used a 12 ". She says it would be too small.
But she seems to cope with it.
A 12 "may be acceptable if one could make the font in the browser permanently larger. Or in some emails.
Which tablet with 14 "are there?
Preferably slates. Detachable keyboard would be good.
But is not mandatory.
From about ~1.5 Ghz upwards, but cheap used items. Sufficient for Windows 7
Examples: ST4121W, ~ 1Ghz/768M, Windows 7 is a bit slow but usable. But it should be more.
Thanks... |

No, I mean a permanent ability.
It is mainly the font to be enlarged.
But the Tablet is now broken.
We must now search in any case a new one.
Apparently, the presentation of their favorite page "qmania" 1024x768 at best.
She has the resolution of the M4 always set to 1024x768. Therefore, a high native resolution is not worthwhile. |

Also, no, these options ("125%", "150%"...) do not change the font size on websites or in emails.
Some emails come with a very small font.
There are 14" only for convertibles (Toshiba, Acer...?)?
13.3 "would be acceptable.
But we do not buy new equipment. Less common devices, it is difficult to get a used.
T1010 is a C2D, and only convertible (fixed keyboard). Used ~$700.
There should be less power for less money.
Single core Stylistic tablets are interesting, but possibly too small screen. |
