each time my TB-PC wakes up from sleep mode I get a dialog box where MS office is trying to install the voice recognition parts of ms office (and failing). is there a way to kill this behavior?

Hi,
I've seen this too. I suspect it's part of Outlook or other Office apps that are loaded when you suspend or hibernate.

I do not know of a fix. I did notice it does not happen as much when I installed SP3 for 2002 and the XP updates.
