I have been involved, as a sales manager, with a new EMR ( www.medscribbler.com ) for about a year now and am encouraged by the comments posted by members of this particular forum. The medical community is finally accepting and, in some cases, even embracing an EMR solution.

Medscribbler, to the best of my knowledge, is the first EMR application designed specifically for the Tablet PC. It incorporates handwriting and ink-to-text conversion features, that are unique to the tablet platform, directly into such procedures as Dx, Rx and progress notes.

If you are looking for a tablet PC that is well suited for EMR applications then visit ( www.tatungtablte.com ) and consider the DN6 model. This tablet coupled with the Medscribbler suite of programs allow a physician to move from manual to electronic charting simply by putting down the clipboard and picking up the tablet. Literature, CD demos, live demos (via Microsoft Live Meeting) and trial versions ($59 for a 1 year license) are available.

Sincerely,
Michael Ferguson, GSM
BrunMed Inc.

Hi Mike,

Medscribbler is to be lauded for their percipient innovation. I think http://www.medicaltabletpc.com/content/view/99/0/ was one of the first.

What exactly does a one year license mean? Is the critical data on the users TPC or your site? Is a user limited to a number of charts? Is patient data transferable to other EMRs?

PS Your URL is not spelled correctly. http://www.tatungtablte.com/

Should read www.tatungtablet.com
