I cross-posted this on another forum (tabletpcbuzz), so apologies if you some of you visit both sites.

I know the ST4110 is an ancient machine, but I just got it on ebay. Works fine, but the fan is almost always on -- at high speed, and loud. It's very annoying. Any ideas on how to reduce the fan's usage? BTW, it's got a clean install of XP Tablet, and is running BIOS v.1.20
