Sorry if this has been asked before, but is it possible to turn off the screen completely without turning off the tablet itself?
Thanks! |

You mean without going into Standby mode? Standby mode gets pretty close to what you need and it'll startup in less than five seconds. _________________ Robert Scoble

Standby might work...I'm thinking more of when I'm listening to music and want to take it with me (for example, walking in-between classes on campus) - with the PC still running, but the screen off to conserve battery power (and not accept input). |

I had reassigned my NEC Tablet Enter button to "Turn Screen Off" (or the equivalent thereof). This does not disable input, but I think it's nice to be able to wave the pen over the screen and turn it back on. Then I start up Media Player and turn off the screen.
The only thing I can't figure out is that the screen turns back on for no reason.
