I am thinking about getting the Gateway CX210X convertible for school this fall. Does anyone have any experience with it or other Gateway tablets? How have they worked for you? One question I have in particular is how hot the device gets as this might make it uncomfortable to take notes.

i use a gateway 2618 at school and it has yet too get to uncomfortable when taking notes. I've found that if you set your power options to maximize the battery life, it stays cooler. I love my tablet; i've been able to stop carrying a separate notebook for each class because of it. My stylus crapped out only a couple of weeks after i got it but gateway replaced it without any hassles. Other than that, it's been smooth sailing. |

I use it as one useful tool, widescreen notebook, a slate for drawing and taking notes and for receiving data via a wireless network. _________________ software reviews |
