Friends,
I have used Tablet PC's for about 3.5 years (HP/Compaq) and love them. I recently came across the Samsung Ultra Mobile PC w/ the touchscreen. I like how teensy it is for some purposes, but the touchscreen seems problematic... the pressure from my wrist when I am writing causes unwanted streaks and marks in applications like Windows Journal. the other Tablet Pc's don't have this problem b/c they use the digitizer pen which is electronic and is not literally a "touchscreen". Does anyone know of a way you can change the setting so that this doesn't happen?

Hi,
When you use a touch screen you can get this effect. It is because two or more places on the touch screen occurs. This is the difference between a touch screen and the active digitizer. The active digitizer allows you to touch the screen with your hand while only taking the input from the stylus.

At this point the only oem that I know of that has a workaround for this situation is the palm rejection with Fujitsu on the 1610. It would be up to each OEM to implement their own solution.
