Hmm, if you did then how would users of the Tablet PC OS type their password when they are using a device without the keyboard or have the display folded over the keyboard?

What is the logic behind removing it? Do you think it makes the boot longer? I did at one time since it seemed to hang with the keyboard present, however, it was looking for my network drive.

Anybody know how to make the on-screen keyboard disapper when you're in laptop mode?

A shoulder-surfer could easily pick up your login password by watching the highlighted keys as you type.
