Hi everyone,

I have a Acer TMC102T taken from a friend. However, recovery cd is lost .
I formatted the drive , I wish I did not Sad

I have the sticker on the back. When I tried a few XP Tablet Edition SP1 and SP2 install cds none of them accepted the XP key on the back.
I tried modifiying setupp.ini file and pid codes, none helped.

I do not want to use another XP key, I wish to make it legal.

Could someone with a Acer TMC102T email / ftp / www me the setupp.ini file and oembios*.* files on their recovery cd?

Best Regards,
Burzek

Hi,
I suggest that you contact Acer for replacement CDs. The restore process is different than reinstalling from XP.
