Is anyone else having trouble aligning the pen to their tablet. I went through calibration several times. It's most bothersome when trying to write small letters and the pen is drawing 2-4mm away from where the pen tip is touching.

I'm not having that problem, The tutorials say to focus on the the spot where
you want to input, and not where the stylus is. This advice has been helpful
to me for "clicking"; but my writing/drawing has been right on the money.

I have a TC1000 as well. My only complaint is getting the right "click" to
work reliabily and quickly. I haven't ruled out cockpit/setting errors yet.
I would contact HP/Compaq with your problem.

I think the cursor lines up slightly away from where the pentip is so ...
the tip is not in the way of what you're looking (pointing) at.
