for anyone interested, just got the CDROM version of the PDR. DO NOT go through usual chanels to get it. I checked out the phone numbers in the complimentary hardcopy of the PDR. there is a general public CD for 99, and if you get the professional subscription through Thompson's 3rd party MicroMedix their asking price is 675 or so. BUT, if you call Thompson directly and verify your legal physician status, you can get a single copy for 9.95 for shipping. I got the annual subscription (1 and 2 updates) for 29.85. Think this is a great way to go if interested - particularly if have multiple office sites.

waiting for more general e-books to come out, too. most books are still in palm/wince/pocketpc formats, though.
